Truth or Fables
Exposing Seventh-day Adventist Fables
2 Tim 4:4 (KJV) 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Seventh-day Adventists from their beginning have turned from the "TRUTH"
the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles to the "FABLES" of their prophetess Ellen G. White.

ADVENTISTS PERSISTENT ERROR

by

We refer the reader to the SDA Adult Sabbath School Bible Study Guide for the months of July to September 2001.

--------------

On page 67, 21st. August, we find this statement-

"Through the ministration of blood in the daily service, sin was transferred to the sanctuary. First, the person confessed his or her sins over the lamb, thus symbolically transferring it to the animal. Then as the blood of the slain lamb was sprinkled before the veil or poured out on the altar…"

Anyone wise enough to check the correctness of this statement from the references given (Lev. 4), will readily see that this statement was written by a person who had never read the chapter or who was terribly mistaken as to its teaching.

4SP.263.001

….Day by day the repentant sinner brought his offering to the door of the tabernacle, and, placing his hand upon the victim's head, confessed his sins, thus in figure transferring them to the innocent sacrifice. The animal was then slain, and the blood or the flesh was carried by the priest into the holy place. Thus the sin was, in figure, transferred to the sanctuary. Such was the work that went forward throughout the year….

We must at this time explain the details of Lev. 4 for those who do not have a Bible handy.

1. Lev. 4:3-12 sets out the procedure when a high priest's sin causes the congregation to sin. A bullock is offered, the blood is taken into the first apartment and the remainder is poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering. No atonement or forgiveness is mentioned.

2. Lev. 4:13-21 covers the sin of the whole congregation (not an individual), a bullock is offered and the blood is taken into the first apartment and the remainder is poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering. Atonement and forgiveness is offered. This reinstates the congregation to favored status again. It is not the sin of the Individual.

3. Lev. 4:22-26. This section covers the sin of the ruler, such as one in charge or a priest. A male goat is offered but the blood stayed in the court and the remainder of the blood is once again poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering. Atonement and forgiveness is offered by this act. This is the sin of the individual.

4. Lev. 4:27-31. This section covers the common person, the individual Jew. A female goat is offered this time but the blood stayed in the court and once again the remainder of the blood was poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering. Atonement and forgiveness were offered.

Verse 32 explains that a lamb may be offered. It has to be female and the same procedure as numbers 3 & 4 apply.

It is important to notice that in every case the balance of the blood was poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering in the court.

--------------------

The reader will now see why the above statement in the pamphlet is meaningless.

     Points to note -

1. The preferred offering was a goat. Why use a lamb?

2. Notice that the statement is not speaking of the congregational sin. Only the individual sin offering required a goat or a lamb. The offering for a congregational sin was a bullock.

3. Not one drop of blood was ever taken into the first apartment for the individual sin offering.

4. Instead, the priest ate the flesh in a holy place in the court.

5. The balance of the blood was always poured at the base of the altar of burnt offering whether the blood went into the first apartment or not.

6. The balance of the blood was not poured on the altar. It was poured at the base of the altar.
7. Notice the writer of the statement does not say which altar is used, the altar of incense or the altar of burnt offering. Leviticus 16 explains that the Most Holy Place, the Holy Place and the altar was cleansed on the Day of Atonement. Lev. 16.33

What is the significance of this blatant error?

1. Mrs. White teaches this error as the basis of the sanctuary message. For the leaders to accept the truth they would need to deny Mrs. White. This they will not do because it would destroy the church.

2. The error is continued because Mrs. White says that the atonement was not completed on the cross. She says (in error) that as the blood was taken into the first apartment, then Jesus had to take his blood back to heaven into the first apartment before the atonement and forgiveness could be ours.

3. Unfortunately for Mrs. White and the SDA church, we now know that atonement and forgiveness was available in the court. The blood did not have to be taken to heaven to facilitate our atonement.

4. Strangely enough if you go to your copy of Patriarchs and Prophets you will see in the appendix a correction of this error.

5. If the leaders were to admit this error they would in affect be saying that the atonement was complete on the cross and their sanctuary message would collapse. The 1844 Day of Atonement is therefore nonsense which cannot be sustained from the Bible and therefore Mrs. White cannot be a prophet of God.

We must not worship where error is taught. See Early Writings 124 & 125.

It is strange how Adventists believe Mrs. White to be a prophet, yet how many will do as she says?

There are Adventists who will not attend their camp meetings because of the music and other apostasies.

There are Adventists who will not send their children to the church school.

There are Adventists who do not purchase a Sabbath School pamphlet because they acknowledge error within its pages.

There are Adventists who acknowledge that they receive more from the study of their Bibles at home than from the divine service at church.

There are Adventists that are not vegetarians.

There are Adventists that wear jewelry.

There are Adventists that do not tithe.

There are Adventists that do not believe in the Investigative Judgment.

We wonder, what is the difference between them and us. We have left the SDA church for the same and identical reasons. Why do they condemn us and yet remain as members of an apostate church? What are they afraid of?

 God bless
