TRUTH OR FABLES strives to provide an unbiased look at the teachings of Ellen G. White. In doing so resource material is provided documenting inconsistencies within the doctrines of the SDA Church as well as Bible contradictions, additions, failed visions and non-scientific health reform messages of Ellen G. White.

1. This site is helpful for SDAs that are searching for truth when they see a conflict with what Ellen White taught as compared with Scripture.

2. It is also helpful to former SDAs as a resource to assist their SDA family and friends to see they have been misled. 

3. It is helpful to the general public that has been investigating Seventh-day Adventist to counter SDAs that have tried to indoctrinate them with Bible Studies and Seminars. It has helped many from getting entangled in Adventism.

Ellen White's books/Testimonies contain a large amount of material Mrs. White and her fleet of college educated secretaries plagiarized from non-inspired authors. She had a library of 1200 books to copy from. EGW did not give credit for her sources, while she led her followers to believe the material she wrote came from Throne of God. "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. I do not write one article in the paper expressing merely my own ideas. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne." Testimonies for the Church Vol. 5 (1882-1889), page 67. "In turning from God's Word to feed on the writings of uninspired men, the mind becomes dwarfed and cheapened. It is not brought in contact with deep, broad principles of eternal truth. . . . " (Christ's Object Lessons p.41)

"When writing these precious books, if I hesitated, the very word I wanted to express the idea was given to me" (Selected Messages, vol. 3, pp. 51,52). 1907.

....yet the words l employ in describing what I have seen are my own, unless they be those spoken to me by an angel, which I always enclose in marks of quotation" (Review and Herald, Oct.8,1867,quoted in Selected Messages,vol.1,p.37).
